Aoife is a public affairs specialist with a background spanning environmental and energy policy as well as strategic political engagement. Aoife joins Seahorse from Grayling, where she played a vital role in expanding the agency’s environment and energy public affairs offer. 

She has supported organisations like Gren Energy and the Independent Generators Group to directly engage with target political stakeholders and influence the policy environment. She is a trusted coalition-builder, supporting key groups across the energy sector to develop joint messaging that speaks to the Government’s Mission on Clean Energy.

Aoife also led advocacy work for Impact on Urban Health and the Healthy Air Coalition, campaigning to secure policies to address environmental health inequalities and campaign for more ambitious air pollution policy - playing a role in securing the strengthening of planning rules to prevent local infrastructure from exacerbating environmental harms to public health.
