Isabella Gornall

Isabella is a seasoned campaigner and public affairs professional with deep expertise in environmental advocacy and strategic communications. With a political background in Westminster and Brussels, she has led high-impact campaigns that have shaped policy agendas and mobilized public and political support for environmental action.
She founded Seahorse after holding roles at two of Europe’s top communications consultancies—Burson-Marsteller (part of WPP) and Maitland (part of Havas)—where she led their environmental practice and advised major clients on navigating complex policy landscapes.
Previously, Isabella served as Policy Adviser to Zac Goldsmith MP, where she played a central role in policy development, coordinated government-facing proposals, and managed international environmental campaigns—building coalitions, securing media attention, and influencing decision-makers at the highest levels.
Izi is co-founder of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sustainable Finance and a member of the Steering Committee of the Conservative Environment Network, where she continues to drive policy engagement and advocate for sustainable solutions within government and party structures.
Recognised as a leading voice in her field, Isabella has been listed in PRWeek’s Power Book each year since 2022 and named one of the Top 10 Environmental Communications Champions in Britain.
